Avianca is the national airline and flag carrier of Colombia, founded in 1940, the airlines headquarters is in Bogota Colombia with its main hub located at El Dorado International Airport Colombia.
Avianca parent company is Synergy Group which also owns OceanAir in Brazil, SAM and Tampa Cargo in Colombia, AeroGal and VIP in Ecuador, Capital Airlines in Nigeria and Grupo TACA and its subsidiaries.
Today Avianca has a fleet of 43 aircraft and serves 49 destinations, with extensive coverage throughout South America, North America Central America and the Caribbean.
